Privacy Policy
- Information Collection and Use
Fay Ranches Community Foundation (FRCF) collects personal information when you register with FRCF when you use FRCF products or services, and when you visit FRCF website pages (the “Site”). When you register, we may ask for information such as your name, email address, mailing address, and zip code (your “Personal Information”). FRCF collects information about your searches, requests for information, and other transactions with us. FRCF automatically receives and records information on our server logs from your browser, including your IP address, FRCF cookie information, other information and the page you request. FRCF uses information for the following general purposes: to send information to you, to display personalized advertisements to you, to send you marketing communications to respond to requests and questions, improve our services, and to retain contact information for you.
Personal Information collected is retained until FRCF is notified by the individual, or one of FRCF personnel, to delete the information. Users can change their personal information either by emailing or calling FRCF. We honor do-not-track signals and do not track plant cookies or use advertising when a Do Not Track (DNT) browser mechanism is in place. We do, however, allow behavioral tracking by our third-party vendors. FRCF does not specifically market to children under the age of 13.
- Promotional and Newsletter Communications
You may opt-out of receiving promotional and newsletter emails from FRCF by selecting the option at the bottom of any email or contacting our staff. You may also opt-out of receiving promotional emails and other promotional communications from us at any time by emailing info@faycf.org with your specific request.
- Protection of Personal Information
We adopt appropriate data collection, storage, and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of your Personal Information, username, password, transaction information, and data stored on our Site. Notwithstanding the foregoing, by providing us with your Personal Information, you understand and agree that you will not hold FRCF, its officers, affiliates, and employees liable for any loss or damage incurred as a result of inadvertent disclosure of your Personal Information, whether due to negligence on the part of FRCF or otherwise.
- Information Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or rent personal identification information to others. We may share generic aggregated demographic information not linked to any personal identification information regarding visitors and users with our business partners, and trusted affiliates for the purposes outlined above. We may use third-party service providers to help us operate our business and the Site or administer activities on our behalf, such as sending out newsletters or surveys. We may share your information with these third parties for those limited purposes if you have given us your permission.
- Third-Party Sites
Users may find advertising or other content on our Site that link to the sites and services of our partners, suppliers, sponsors, licensors and other third parties (“Linked Sites”). We do not control the content or links that appear on Linked Sites and are not responsible for the practices employed by those Linked Sites. Browsing and interaction on any other website, including websites which have a link to our Site, is subject to that website’s own terms and policies. FRCF may set and access FRCF cookies on your computer. FRCF and third parties authorized by us use cookies and similar technologies in providing enhanced services and information to users of our Site. Most browsers accept cookies automatically. If you wish to disable or remove cookies, refer to your browser help menu for information.
We, along with third parties, also may use beacons that provide information from your device to a server. Beacons can be part of online content and e-mails that allow a server to obtain certain types of information from your device, track when content is viewed, or an email. These also may collect the time and date of viewing the beacon, and the IP address of your device. Beacons are used for a variety of purposes. Beacons assist us in determining how you use our services and (together with cookies) we can improve useful content and information to you.
We, along with third parties, may use other kinds of technologies such as “Flash cookies” and HTML5 local storage. Like cookies, Flash cookies are stored on your device and can be used to provide information about your activities and preferences. These technologies differ from standard cookies. Disabling HTML5 will vary depending on your browser. To disable Flash cookies, right-click any Flash content, allowing you to access local storage settings for the Site. FRCF has the discretion to update this privacy policy and terms of use at any time. When we do, we will post a notification on the main page of our Site. We encourage users to frequently check this page for any changes to stay informed about how we are helping to protect the personal information we collect. You acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to review this privacy policy periodically and become aware of modifications.
By using this Site, you signify your acceptance of this policy. If you do not agree to this policy, please do not use our Site. Your continued use of the Site following the posting of changes to this policy will be deemed your acceptance of those changes.
9. Donor Information
Fay Ranches Community Foundation is committed to respecting the privacy of its financial and in-kind donors, whether the donation is made online, by mail, or any other method. FRCF will not sell, share, or trade a donor’s personal information with any other entity, except as described above, nor will we send mailings or other communications on behalf of other organizations. FRCF will only share personal information once the donor has given specific permission to do so.
